The first Frakture gig of the new year sees a welcome return from the Noise Upstairs.
The Noise Upstairs is an open mic night with a difference. The format is simple: just turn up on the night and put your name in the hat. Throughout the night, names will be drawn from the hat to play in different groups, improvising freely.
Note: there will be limited amplification available for those who need it, though it is advisable to bring your own, if possible.

The Noise Upstairs has been running at Fuel Bar in Manchester since 2007, and has since expanded to Sheffield, as well as hosting a number of creative workshops, inviting a variety of local and international improv musicians to perform in both cities, and has even recently started a small artist-centric label. The Noise Upstairs is run by Anton Hunter and Rodrigo Constanzo.
This is the second outing of the Noise Upstairs to Liverpool.
