The Merseyside Improvisers Orchestra, under the direction of Ged Barry (with Mark Jones, woodwind), present a wide variety of compositions, improvisations, and everything in between. This program celebrates performer agency and collaborative authorship by showcasing open works of the twentieth century, contemporary compositions by local composers, and directed improvisation.
